EAT is a collaboration between Economics for Emancipation, art.coop, and the New Economy Coalition, co-facilitated by Dr. Francisco Perez and cultural organizer Donnay Edmund.
EAT started in 2024 as an in-person hybrid in person and virtual learning journey for artists. In December 2025, EAT hosted the “Three Cs of Art” weekend virtual workshop series: three days of three-hour workshops with 40 artists, alongside a public talkback speaker series featuring cultural workers and advocates sharing lessons from their organizing.
The fact that WE WERE ALL THERE to make this happen. What needs to happen is not an isolated activity, so to share space with like-minded, proactive people was superb.
