I Have a Future

September 9, 2025

In February 2024, CED worked with the youth at I Have a Future Boston to begin exploring the ways that a solidarity economy can meet our needs.

The youth at I Have a Future shared alternatives to meet their spiritual and community belonging, as well as food and health needs. This included imagining a community center with extended hours where young people could hangout and build community. They also reimagined a grocery store with affordable, healthy fruits and vegetables and home-cooked hot foods that were reflective of their cultures.
